Our  💛–Project in November focuses on a child who urgently needs a sponsor: Susan Muthoni.

Susan lives with her mother and three siblings in the slum. Since her parents separated in 2022, her mother has had all the responsibility  and tries to sustain the family with small casual jobs. There’s no financial scope for education – which means Susan cannot attend school.

Despite this difficult situation, Susan has big dreams:
She wants to become a doctor to help people in her community. At school, she especially loves Mathematics and Kiswahili – subjects that motivate her and give her the strength to hold on to her dreams. In her free time, she enjoys skipping rope and loves everything that is pink – her favorite color, because it simply brings her joy.

To go to school and get one step closer to her dream of becoming a doctor, Susan needs a sponsor.

A sponsorship gives her:

• regular access to school
• learning materials and tutoring classes 
• a school uniform
• basic medical care
• food 
• and: the belief in her future dreams
