One heavy rain can become a life-altering event – as it did during a recent flood that swept through entire neighborhoods, washing away homes, belongings, and a sense of stability.

In just a few hours, dozens of families lost everything. Their homes were underwater. Children were left without clothing, mattresses, or even shoes. Parents stood in knee-deep water, unsure how to protect their families.
