Turning experiences into stories. Staying close to what truly matters. 💛

What are your tasks at ULT?

I’m part of the Social Media team and also help with LinkedIn. But what I enjoy most is, of course, being on site. In March, I had the chance to travel to Kenya for the second time.

Why are you involved with ULT?

My first visit to Kenya really touched me, and the time with the children and young people was an incredible experience. It’s so fulfilling to see the impact we can create on the ground. I truly believe that good education is the first step towards a fulfilling life and opens up opportunities. That’s exactly what ULT stands for and so much more 🙂

What was your favourite subject at school?

I always really enjoyed math and biology. Chemistry wasn’t my favorite, although it’s actually not that bad anymore in my studies. When I was in Kenya in March, I got to take part in a baking class. That was so much fun and would definitely have been one of my favorite subjects at school.

Where do you see ULT in 5 years' time?

I’m really looking forward to future projects with ULT and I’m sure that the ULT Academy will have grown a lot in five years. I would love to continue traveling to Kenya regularly and support the amazing students on their journey.

Tell us a funny/embarrassing/nice story from your school days.

Before our last day of school, a few classmates and I hid inside the school and waited until all the teachers had left the building. Then we spent the whole night “redecorating” the school. We moved all the desks outside into the schoolyard, blocked the entrances with balloons, and built obstacle courses out of chairs in the hallways. The surprise the next morning was huge, especially for our principal 😉
