Today, Stacy, a 5th grader, takes you through her everyday school life. Come along!
Hello! Iâm Stacy, I am 12 years old and today I want to take you with me through my school day! đ
Iâll tell you what my morning looks like, what we do at school and what I enjoy the most. Letâs go!
Itâs Monday and I wake up at half past six. The sky over Nairobi is still a little pink, it looks sooo beautiful!
I stretch, make my bed and put on my school uniform. Then I brush my teeth and eat breakfast. Today we have something warm – thatâs my favorite! Now I feel awake and ready for school!
Before I leave, I pack my books into my school bag. On the way, I meet my friends. We already laugh together as we walk – thatâs so much fun!
At 7:30, we arrive at school. I love being here. Our teachers are really kind and explain everything so well. The classrooms are colorful and full of posters and drawings. đ
Today we have Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. My favorite is Social Studies –Â we learn a lot about Kenya and the people who live here. I think thatâs really exciting!Â

After the first two lessons, itâs time for our big break! We all run outside to the schoolyard.
I share snacks with my friends and we sing songs together. đ¶
We laugh a lot – maybe break time is actually my favorite part of the day. đ€
Now itâs time for Social Studies, finally! After that, we have Science. Today weâre learning about animals in Kenya. đ I love animals! And wow, so many live right here in my country. Thatâs really cool.
Suddenly, the school bell rings. Itâs already 3:30 p.m.! Time went by so fast. I walk home with my friends and I keep thinking about all the animals we learned about –Â leopards, elephants, giraffes… I imagine seeing them all in real life one day!
At 4:20, Iâm back home. I sit down on my bed and rest for a bit, Iâm a little tired from the day.
Then I do my homework, luckily, itâs quick today. After that, I wash my uniform so itâs clean and dry for tomorrow. đ§Œ
In the evening, we eat dinner together. Mum and Dad always want to know what I learned in school, and I tell them everything! Before bed, I say a little prayer. I thank God for every day I get to spend with my family.Â
Now itâs off to bed. Itâs already 9 p.m. – time to sleep. Thank you for listening to my story. Good night! đ
Because of her sponsorâs support, Stacy gets to experience all of this:
A safe place to learn, kind teachers, a warm meal, things that are not guaranteed for many children in Nairobiâs slums.
But through your donation, your sponsorship, or your help with the school purchase, you make it all possible: Hope, education and a future.
Thank you for making this possible.
In November, Sarah will travel to Nairobi together with her friend Isabel. The two will actively support our local team wherever help is needed, whether in projects at the ULT Academy or with organizational tasks. Sarah is also organizing the next Health Day. This way, connection, health, and hope are created right where they are needed most. âš

November brings excitement and ambition to Nairobi: Many of our sponsored children are taking their final exams, an important step toward a self-determined future. We are incredibly proud of them and deeply thankful that, thanks to your support, these moments are even possible. Education changes lives – a little more every day. đȘ

When beats do good: At the legendary BASSMASSAGE Christmas party, we celebrate not only music but also community! Part of the proceeds will go to ULT again this year, all in the spirit of âTechno creates education.â Weâre super excited to be part of this event! đ« You can get your tickets now right here.
