With every step, it became clearer: Our values aren’t just a “nice extra”.
They’re the heartbeat of ULT. They give us direction, stability, and motivation – especially now, as our organisation grows and so many amazing new volunteers join the team.
In the end, we defined eleven values – eleven small anchors that strengthen how we connect as a team and share our vision with the world. It wasn’t always easy to choose. But that’s where the real strength lay: in the conversations, in the back-and-forth, in the honest search for what truly matters to us.
From the start, it was clear: Our values shouldn’t just be “decided on”. They should be alive.That’s why we brought them into our team meetings, discussed them in breakout sessions, adapted them – and celebrated them. Every volunteer could share their view. Every voice mattered.
This creative collaboration showed us once again: We are many – but our hearts beat as one.
