Elias finds the best spots to capture stunning photos and preserve unforgettable moments for the ULT family and its guests.

What are your tasks at ULT?

I am a hobby photographer and support ULT with pictures from their events.

Why are you involved with ULT?

I am a primary school teacher and follow the same approach as ULT in my daily work. Education is the key to almost everything. Change needs people who are willing to initiate and implement these changes. Education should aim to turn children into self-reliant people who are prepared for adulthood with a wide range of knowledge. In doing so, they should learn important skills that enable them to participate in society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (ESD).
This is why ULT’s work is so important, so that this development is also made possible in parts of the world where the conditions are much worse.
I hope that my photos will help to increase ULT’s reach and attract more attention.

What was your favourite subject at school?

Definitely sport and drama.

Where do you see ULT in 5 years' time?

Hopefully so big that many more children will be educated and the dream of having our own school will finally have become a reality.

Tell us a funny/embarrassing/nice story from your school days.

A teacher showed us pictures from his holiday on a screen, but unfortunately he didn’t look at the pictures again beforehand, because a picture suddenly appeared of him showering under a waterfall – naked.
For us 16-year-old kids, it was a big laugh.😂
