Interview on the BlueOceanBusinessClub Podcast: Lea about ULT in Kenya

Last week, I had the exciting opportunity to be interviewed by the BlueOceanBusinessClub Podcast. This podcast offers fascinating insights into the world of business innovation and personal stories from inspiring leaders. My interview focused on a topic very close to my heart: my work with ULT in Kenya.

Let’s be honest, at first glance, it might not sound particularly exciting – but it holds so many possibilities. Four years ago, I founded my NGO, which now employs 13 dedicated staff members. Together, we have managed to provide education to 600 children in Kenya. Education is the key to a better future, and I am filled with pride and gratitude to be part of this important mission.

However, as with any deeply fulfilling work, there are also challenges. The hurdles that come with running an NGO are not to be underestimated. It requires immense dedication, perseverance, and sometimes overcoming setbacks. In my interview, I openly discuss the highs and lows of this journey and the balance between the fulfillment that the work brings and the challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Is my NGO a fulfilling gift or an overwhelming challenge? I answer this question in detail in the episode. Sharing my story and vision with the BlueOceanBusinessClub audience was a wonderful experience. If you’re interested in learning more about the exciting and demanding world of NGO work, be sure to listen in!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and questions and hope that my experiences can inspire you.
