On Friday, the 27th of May 2022, we organized a swimming day with 154 children and five staff members in the swimming pool of the Shark Palace. Unfortunately, for the children and young people, going to the swimming pool in their free time is not a matter of course due to their standard of living. On the one hand, the parents do not have the possibility to take care of the children and on the other hand, they lack the necessary financial means for such an excursion. For our volunteers on site, Bonface has set the following two goals for the day:
1. Interact with the children within our organization and provide them with a memorable experience. 
ULT’s goal is to be able to provide the children and youth with a beautiful childhood in addition to a good education.
2. To have individual conversations with the children in order to give them advice for their future.

At the same time, we would like to be available as contact persons at any time, so that our sponsored children do not have to carry their fears and worries around with them alone. On this day, however, we could see above all a lot of happy faces!
His conclusion for the Poolday was very positive: The event was a success and offered the children an unforgettable experience. They asked for similar projects to be carried out to increase the children’s self-esteem.
We are very grateful to have such great, dedicated and imaginative team members on site to make these project days possible.

In order for us to continue planning, organizing and implementing great projects for the kids in the future, we need sustainable support. That is why we have created our ULT Happy CLUB. Under the motto “We let children be children”, we would like to continue to carry out our projects such as the letter campaign, our project day for secondary school students and the Poolday on site. We also have many other ideas that we would like to implement with your help. Of course, our focus is always on the children and young people.
With the ULT Happy CLUB, however, we want to bring joy to everyone involved. Our goal: Happy children, happy members, happy us.
As a club member you benefit from a kind of advantage system: At the beginning of your membership you receive a welcome box. It contains our ULT mug, which can only be purchased in the welcome box, a membership card and even more surprises in our ULT design.

After six months of membership you will get the opportunity to volunteer with us for seven days free of charge. We take over the costs for accommodation, food and WLAN and you can completely devote yourself to the new impressions. Of course you don’t have to use this advantage directly. All member benefits can be saved and redeemed when it suits you best. You can find more benefits on our website. With a minimum donation of 10 € per month you can now easily become a member and directly realize your benefits as well as your participation in important projects. Of course it is possible to choose a larger membership fee. Since a lot of things happen in life and money can be tight for everyone, we have decided that members can pause their membership for up to one year.
