With your membership in the ULT Happy CLUB, you also support our Food Program. Thanks to Annika’s dedicated foundation work, our Food Program has been expanded for the past three years to include an additional project – providing meals for our school children. This project is funded by the Ein-Zehntel-Stiftung (engl.: One-tenthtFoundation).

We recently completed a final report covering the past two years and submitted it to the foundation, along with a follow-up application for 2025. The application is a pre-prepared document provided by the foundation, where we introduced our organization and outlined the project’s measures, goals, and impact. We submitted the application at the end of January. On 1st February 2025, the One-Tenth Foundation reviewed the funding request in a meeting.

During a follow-up call, Annika was able to clarify outstanding questions, and we soon received fantastic news – our application was approved! The entire team was thrilled when Annika announced that the follow-up funding was secured, ensuring meals for our school children in 2025. Thanks to this support, we can provide daily school lunches for 85 children at Kahawa Primary School – for an entire year! The funds have already been transferred.

We are also excited about our future partnership with the One-Tenth Foundation. They have expressed their willingness to continue working with us and supporting our mission.

Once the school purchase is finalized, we aim to expand our Food Program even further. Over the next year, we will assess the needs of the local community and determine how we can provide the best possible support. Based on these findings, we will engage in further discussions with the One-Tenth Foundation.
