The school provides children from the surrounding informal settlements with access to quality education in a safe and caring environment. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much heart and dedication goes into everything that happens here. The children welcomed me with incredible kindness, openness and happiness, and it quickly became obvious what a difference this school in Kenya makes in their lives.

One of the things that impressed me most was the size of the classes. With around 20 pupils per classroom, teachers are able to give every child the attention and support they deserve. Compared to many public schools, where classes can include up to 100 children, the difference is remarkable. You can truly feel the patience, care and commitment in every lesson.

It quickly became clear how much this opportunity means to the children. Many of them are only able to attend school because someone, somewhere in the world, has chosen to sponsor their education. Their joy, motivation and gratitude are incredibly moving.

Education offers far more than the chance of a future career. It gives children hope, confidence and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. For many families, this school in Kenya represents the beginning of a brighter future and the possibility of creating lasting change.

Above all, I was inspired by the kindness of the children, the dedication of the teachers and the passion of everyone involved. You can truly feel that every contribution reaches the people who need it most and that everyone is working towards the same shared vision.

I am incredibly grateful to have visited this school and to have met the wonderful people behind it. The children and the team have left a lasting impression on me.
