Hello, I’m Mercy Wambui, a 10-year-old girl born on February 7, 2013. I live with my mother and a small brother. My mother does casual jobs to provide for our family. My father abandoned us three years ago and started another family elsewhere. There are no cases of violence or alcoholism in our family or neighborhood.

My dream is to become a doctor so that I can help sick children in my community. I love dancing and acrobatics the most. Pink is my favorite color because it looks smart on clothes. What I like about school is learning new things.
