Hi, my name is Martin and I live with my grandparents, my sister, and two cousins in the Soweto slum in Nairobi, Kenya. My mother lives in Mombasa and tries to earn money for the family there. She lives there with our stepfather. I don’t know my real father because my parents separated many years ago.

My dream is to become a doctor because I want to help people. My favorite color is white because it’s so pure. I like to draw in my free time. I don’t have a favorite subject because I love learning many things.
