“Hi, my name is Sharon and I’m 14 years old. I live with my mom, two sisters, and two brothers. My mom is a single parent and carries all the responsibility for us on her own. Life is hard, and we go through many challenges.

I’m in high school and love being at school. To me, education is the key to success, and I’m determined to achieve it. Math is my favorite subject – I’m really good at it! My happiest moment was being accepted into high school – it meant the world to me. In my free time, I love dancing Afro styles and braiding hair. I dream of becoming a hairdresser one day, or maybe even an accountant. I imagine myself living abroad as a successful woman with my own income. I love purple, because it’s beautiful, and I’m a peaceful person who believes in kindness. School fees are hard to pay, and I might have to stop going without support. I hope someone believes in me and helps me continue my journey.”
