Hi, my name is Shaleen and I live with my mother, my brother, my sister and my aunt. Our family is close and my mother and I have a good relationship. My mother works hard to provide for us. She takes every opportunity she can get and does various odd jobs, such as washing clothes. She does everything she can to give us a good life.

My biggest dream is to become a journalist one day. I want to tell what is happening in the world and bring people closer to the truth. It’s important to me to give others a voice and share important stories. What I love most is dancing and singing. It makes me happy and makes me forget everything else. My favorite color is blue because it’s just right – not too light and not too dark. What I particularly like about school is that I can learn so much there. I want to gather as much knowledge as possible so that one day I can realize my dream of becoming a journalist.
