Hi, my name is Sam and I live with my mother in the Soweto slum in Nairobi, Kenya. My mother has no job. She takes casual jobs when she finds some to support our family. My father and mother separated a long time ago and we don’t see him anymore.

I dream of becoming a policeman to protect my country and people. My favorite color is red. I like to play soccer in my free time. My favorite subject is math. I am already in the 5th grade at Kahawah Elementary School.
