Hey there! I’m Quincey Wairimu, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself as I look forward to joining PP2.

I have my birth certificate, am 6 years old, and was born on the 12th of August 2018. I currently live with my mother, stepfather, and grandmother in Soweto. Although I maintain phone contact with my dad, there is no financial support from him. To provide for our family, my mom engages in casual work, washing clothes and houses, while my stepfather also does casual work, carrying bags and transporting stuff around. Thankfully, there are no cases of violence or alcoholism, either within the family or in the neighborhood.

My dream is to become a primary teacher, inspired by the desire to teach other children just like myself. My favorite color is pink because it looks smart. I love drawing and writing stories the most. What I like about school is that it helps me become a big girl and prepares me to assist my mom in the future. Yes, I’ve already been to school. I attended PP1 previously, and now I’m eagerly looking forward to joining PP2.
