“Hello, my name is John and I’m 15 years old. I live with my mom and three brothers. My father left us and now has another family. My mom is raising us alone and takes small jobs whenever she can. But it’s hard, especially when it comes to school fees.

I’m in Grade 9 at Kahawa Primary JSS and walk 25 minutes to school. I enjoy learning and working in teams. My favorite subjects are English and PE. I love football, and Teacher Vincent is my favorite because he’s great at explaining sports. If I could change something at school, I’d improve the football field and extend breaks. My dream is to become an engineer and create innovative projects for my community. My mom and grandfather are my role models. My favorite color is black because it’s strong and elegant. I love watching and playing football in my free time. I hope I can continue going to school – a sponsorship would help me so much.”
