“Hi, my name is Ann and I’m 16 years old. I live with my grandfather because my parents abandoned me early on. He is very old and can’t work anymore, so we depend on help from outside. It’s often difficult for us to have enough to eat, and even harder to pay for my school fees.

I’m currently in the third year of high school and I love going to school. My favorite subject is history, and I enjoy learning and sharing with my classmates. My best memory is simply being in class and learning something new. I dream of becoming a neurologist to help people in need. I know education is the only way to achieve that. When I think about the future, I see myself living outside the slum with a meaningful job. I want to stay in school so badly, but without support, I won’t be able to attend anymore. I hope someone will help me continue on my path.”

To send this child to school and provide them with necessary supplies and a uniform, we kindly ask for a sponsorship of €9.00 per month (in total €108.00 per year).
