Hier ist, wor\u00fcber wir nachgedacht haben: ULT (UNDER Lea's TRUST) hat sich seit seiner Gr\u00fcndung im Jahr 2021 dank Deiner Hilfe und Unterst\u00fctzung deutlich weiterentwickelt und w\u00e4chst von Tag zu Tag weiter. Um Dich daran teilhaben zu lassen und Dich m\u00f6glichst transparent dar\u00fcber zu informieren, wer sich hinter dem Namen ``UNDER Lea's TRUST`` verbirgt, wird sich von nun an bis zum Ende des Jahres in jedem Newsletter ein Mitglied unseres Teams pers\u00f6nlich vorstellen. Wir haben uns f\u00fcnf Fragen ausgedacht, die jedes Mitglied beantworten wird. Diesen Monat ist unser engagierter Mitbegr\u00fcnder und Managementbeauftragter in Kenia, Bonface, an der Reihe.<\/h3>

Hallo, mein Name ist Bonface Kangonga aus Nairobi, Kenia.<\/p>\n

Ich bin 29 Jahre alt und sehr gl\u00fccklich, Mitbegr\u00fcnder und Leiter von ULT in Kenia zu sein. Das macht mich zu einem \"Vollzeit-Freiwilligen\" von UTL hier in Kenia. Dabei treibt mich meine Leidenschaft und Liebe zu den Slumkindern immer wieder an, um letztlich das Leben und die Zukunft dieser Kinder zu verbessern.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Was sind deine Aufgaben bei ULT?<\/h2>
<\/span><\/div>\n\t
\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t

Meine Hauptaufgabe besteht darin, gef\u00e4hrdete Kinder im Slum zu identifizieren, die nicht zur Schule gehen k\u00f6nnen. Ich mache Hausbesuche bei den Kindern, was dazu f\u00fchrt, dass sie in das ULT-Programm aufgenommen werden. Ich sorge daf\u00fcr, dass die Kinder mit B\u00fcchern, Schuluniformen und allem Notwendigen versorgt werden, damit sie den Unterricht besuchen k\u00f6nnen. Eine meiner Lieblingsaufgaben ist es, daf\u00fcr zu sorgen, dass alle Kinder in der Schule sind.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Warum engagierst du dich bei ULT?<\/h2>
<\/span><\/div>\n\t

\n\t\t\t

Als Kind bin ich im Slum geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich wuchs bei meiner Gro\u00dfmutter auf und hatte viele Herausforderungen zu bew\u00e4ltigen, vor allem in Bezug auf die Bildung: Manchmal verpasste ich wegen der Schulgeb\u00fchren den Unterricht, ging mit leerem Magen zur Schule und es fehlte an Lernmaterial. Als Kind war das sehr anstrengend und ich wurde stark stigmatisiert. Aus diesem Grund war ich von Anfang an voll dabei, als wir mit ULT begannen. Es w\u00fcrde mir keine Ruhe lassen, Kinder zu sehen, die die gleichen Herausforderungen durchmachen wie ich, als ich aufwuchs, und ich m\u00f6chte die Ver\u00e4nderung sein, die ich in der Welt sehen m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Was war dein Lieblingsfach und was war dein Hassfach in der Schule?<\/h2>
<\/span><\/div>\n\t

\n\t\t\t

In der Schule liebte ich Geschichte und Sprachen so sehr, dass ich darauf achtete, keine dieser Stunden zu verpassen. Mathe habe ich nicht gehasst, aber das Problem war, dass der Lehrer nur am Nachmittag kommen konnte und er wusste, dass das keine gute Zeit f\u00fcr das Fach war, weil wir alle schon sehr m\u00fcde waren und man sich vorstellen kann, wie langweilig Mathe am Nachmittag war, aber er war trotzdem aggressiv, wenn man nicht aufpasste. Deshalb mochte ich den Matheunterricht in meiner Schulzeit nicht.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Wo siehst du ULT in 5 Jahren?<\/h2>
<\/span><\/div>\n\t

\n\t\t\t

Ich sehe ULT in f\u00fcnf Jahren in einer Position, in der es einen sicheren Raum und ein Innovationszentrum f\u00fcr die Kinder in Kenia und ganz Afrika darstellt. ULT hat bereits eine bessere Lebensgrundlage durch Bildung geschaffen und damit eine nachhaltige Entwicklung der Gemeinschaft vorangetrieben, die sich weiter zum Besseren wendet.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Eines Tages erz\u00e4hlten mein Freund und ich uns Geschichten \u00fcber unsere Geburtstage, und lange Zeit habe ich ihm nie von meinem Geburtstag erz\u00e4hlt, weil es in unserem Land die Tradition gibt, dass man an diesem Tag mit Wasser \u00fcbergossen wird, und ich hatte solche Angst davor. Am Tag meines Geburtstags ging ich ganz normal zur Schule und war froh, dass niemand wusste, dass ich Geburtstag hatte, aber ich wusste nicht, dass sie es trotzdem wussten, obwohl ich es ihnen nicht gesagt hatte. Als ich also in meine Klasse kam, war ich innerhalb einer Sekunde nass. Es war noch sehr fr\u00fch am Morgen, also musste ich nach Hause gehen und mich umziehen.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
