Lea hat UNDER Lea\u2019s TRUST 2020 gemeinsam mit ihrem kenianischen Partner gegr\u00fcndet und begleitet den Verein seitdem in unterschiedlichsten Rollen. Als Gr\u00fcnderin ist sie in viele strategische und operative Prozesse eingebunden und unterst\u00fctzt aktuell aufgrund des Volunteer-Mangels in nahezu allen Bereichen mit. Zwischen Teamverantwortung, Schulprozessen in Kenia, Fundraising und ihrem neuen Alltag als Mama versucht sie, die verschiedenen Aufgaben unter einen Hut zu bringen. In diesem Interview teilt sie, was sie antreibt, welche Herausforderungen sie gerade besch\u00e4ftigen und warum der Schulkauf f\u00fcr sie eine ganz besondere Bedeutung hat.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Wie lange bist du schon ehrenamtlich bei UNDER Lea's TRUST aktiv und was ist deine Motivation?<\/h2>

Ich habe UNDER Lea\u2019s TRUST gemeinsam mit meinem kenianischen Partner im Jahr 2020 gegr\u00fcndet. Seitdem ist ULT ein fester Bestandteil meines Lebens. Und ich meine wirklich fester Bestandteil. Nicht nur als Projekt, sondern als Herzensangelegenheit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meine Motivation speist sich aus so vielen Momenten. Aus meinen Besuchen in Kenia. Aus dem Lachen der Kinder. Aus diesen Blicken voller Stolz, wenn wieder ein Schulabschluss geschafft ist. Aus dem Miteinander in unserem Team. Aus den Meilensteinen, die wir gemeinsam erreichen. Und vor allem aus dem Sinn hinter allem, was wir tun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es gibt kaum etwas Erf\u00fcllenderes, als zu wissen, dass unsere Arbeit echte Zukunft schafft.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ganz ehrlich? Aktuell ein bisschen \u00fcberall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Da wir momentan einen Mangel an Volunteers haben, bin ich in nahezu allen Teams mit drin. Ich schreibe in diesem Monat selbst den Newsletter, helfe bei Social Media aus, k\u00fcmmere mich um Backoffice Themen, versuche komplexe Arbeitsprozesse zu vereinfachen, bin im HR aktiv, treibe Kooperationen voran, k\u00fcmmere mich ums Fundraising und bin stark in die Prozesse in Kenia eingebunden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es ist viel. Manchmal sehr viel. Aber genau das zeigt auch, wie sehr wir als Verein auf engagierte Menschen angewiesen sind.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Wie hat sich die Zusammenarbeit im Team und mit anderen Ehrenamtlichen im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt und welche positiven Ver\u00e4nderungen hast du dabei wahrgenommen?<\/h2>

\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t

Was mich am meisten ber\u00fchrt, ist, dass wir wirklich zu einer Familie zusammengewachsen sind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Am Anfang war vieles spontan, improvisiert und emotional. Mit der Zeit ist unglaublich viel Struktur dazugekommen. Prozesse wurden klarer, Aufgaben verteilt, Verantwortlichkeiten definiert. Das war wichtig, damit unsere Arbeit effizient bleibt und nicht unsere gesamte Freizeit verschlingt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aber bei aller Struktur achten wir immer darauf, dass der Spa\u00df nicht verloren geht. Dass wir lachen. Dass wir ehrlich miteinander sprechen. Dass wir uns gegenseitig auffangen, wenn es mal stressig wird.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professionalit\u00e4t und Herz schlie\u00dfen sich bei uns nicht aus. Sie geh\u00f6ren zusammen.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Was sind f\u00fcr dich die gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen in deiner ehrenamtlichen Arbeit und wie gehst du damit um?<\/h2>

F\u00fcr mich als Gr\u00fcnderin und Leiterin von ULT ist die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung aktuell die Zeit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ich bin vor f\u00fcnf Monaten Mama geworden. Unser Sohn ist jetzt f\u00fcnf Monate alt. Und gleichzeitig versuche ich, ULT weiterhin mit voller Kraft zu rocken. Das ist wundersch\u00f6n, aber auch herausfordernd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zus\u00e4tzlich trage ich die Verantwortung f\u00fcr ein gro\u00dfes Team in Deutschland und \u00fcber 700 Kinder in Kenia. Diese Verantwortung ist nicht leicht. Sie bringt Druck mit sich. Entscheidungen haben Gewicht. Und manchmal f\u00fchlt sich das alles sehr gro\u00df an.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aber genau dann erinnere ich mich daran, warum wir angefangen haben.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Der Schulkauf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ganz klar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wir arbeiten seit Jahren darauf hin. Und jetzt stehen wir an diesem Punkt. Unser Name steht an der Schule. Wir sind in der Leitung. 75 Prozent des Kaufpreises sind bezahlt. Und wir befinden uns im finalen Fundraising Schritt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manchmal kann ich es selbst kaum glauben.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zu sehen, wie aus einer Idee im Jahr 2020 eine eigene Schule geworden ist, ist einfach unfassbar. Und es zeigt mir immer wieder: Wenn Menschen zusammenhalten, k\u00f6nnen Tr\u00e4ume Realit\u00e4t werden.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
