\u2013 it&#8217;s a privilege that many children in the slums of Nairobi don\u2019t have.<\/mark> They grow up in environments where access to doctors is rare, hospitals are unaffordable, and mental health simply isn&#8217;t talked about. Many suffer from <mark>preventable diseases, chronic infections, malnutrition, or emotional trauma<\/mark> caused by loss, neglect, or violence. But instead of healing, they are forced to keep going \u2013 without help, without hope.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>That\u2019s why we created Health Day \u2013 a day dedicated entirely to their well-being. Twice a year, we bring together hundreds of children to receive <mark>free hygiene items and offer workshops as well as psychological support<\/mark>.
